My sister and I wanted to get all of my father's affairs in order before there was the need because we felt it would be too stressful to plan a funeral when we actually needed to.
We initially met with a very kind woman named Michelle. She walked us through the process of planning a funeral, answering all of our questions and doing research for us as we wanted a specific type of casket that she had not seen in a very long time.
One of the funeral directors called me to set an appointment the afternoon of my dad's passing. My sister and I met with Erin and Joe. They walked us through every aspect of preparing for the Celebration of Life service and the Military Honors ceremony which was held at the Veterans cemetery in Williamstown. The entire process could not have been made any easier then they made it for us. By asking us questions about my dad's life they helped us put together a beautiful and honoring obituary. Everything we wanted to do, like play live music and have a specific song list, they made it happen.
At the visitation, celebration of life service, getting ready for the funeral procession to the cemetery and once we arrived at the cemetery, Erin was so attentive to our every need.
It was an extremely emotional few days. All of the staff were very kind and totally tuned into what we needed. They made a very heart breaking situation easy to navigate through. Our family felt very blessed and we knew we made the right decision in choosing Chambers and Grubbs.
